Anyways. The young guys don't know this because they are just living in the moment. But when I was in my prime every single session at the skatepark or street spot was always a great success. I didn't think about this at the time, but it was b ecause I went to the spot or park expecting fun. I knew I was going tohave a great time and I fucking made it happen. In the past 3 years I mostly went to the park hoping that it would just happen. or sometimes just go there like a zombie because in my past life that was what I did. Skate. I haven't progressed much, gained weight, didn't have fun. I went to a shitty park when it was dry a few days ago and had the same amount of fun that I did a long time ago. I completely lived in the moment and made fun happen.

I'm going to apply this to other areas in my life. I'm bursting with energy right now. I need to go to bed. it's almost 12am here and I haz work at 7. Fuck it, I'm going to wake up at 6 and kill it at work.

Business is booming. Sending out offers and booking classes almost every day. Apparently, I am the cheapest in the business by a large margin. Private teaching for MS office and Adobe CS seems to be a wide open market. I can't hope to compete with the bigger companies as far as quality and certification is concerned, but I'm making my own little niche that apparently appeals to both big business (I'm working for Ikea, Philips and a couple other domestically big players) and private parties looking to spruce up their CV a bit.

I love my job. Never even once have I woken up dreading the day like I did working for a boss. I have never been so fulfilled, even if I have to work 80+ hours a week to make a decent living (for now). Never going back to being a payroll slave for a company I don't care about. Building something from the ground up and watching it grow is really amazing.
