this is also why we haven't skated together for a while.
when i get fed up with blading i just go snowboarding.

Well, the real cool thing about those new skates is that I realize they totally allow me to go real far without much effort.

I know my Mom's place, and the spots here that are mostly destroyed nowadays, so well that I now realize I haven't rolled around for years now, only on a very small perimeter.

I just borrowed my Mom's car and took a ride around the city to see if I could find something to skate.

Mind you, the previous mayor has already made two different skateparks disappear. They were shitty, alright, but I can't begin to comprehend how getting rid of those is going to improve the situation anyhow ?

Well, of course I failed to find anything interesting, but at least I saw a biker and tried to learn a little bit more. He told me a park is going to be built downtown, on some parking lot.

Of course, the biker dude ignores the fact that there already was a park there, 10 years ago... He told me also nothing has been done yet, and that it should be all concrete. Ready to roll for the summer, he said.

Obviously, I am too kind of a boy, and I didn't tell him not to expect anything before next year at least. It's not like I haven't heard that kind of talks for the past 10 years as well... But yeah, at least there's something in the works (hopefully), and all concrete means at least nothing will be moved/destroyed too quickly... Let's hope and see !
