I just got back from an hour of skating my Xsjados. Woot, they're radical! The V-cut makes them feel so much better than the standard cuffs. I could hold heel rolls forever and ever. Turning felt cool, and so did transitions, my feet stuck to the curves. If you haven't sliced up your Xsjados, you should.

Souls were slow as hells. Royales and Farvs were great though. I was doing 720 Farvs first try.

I did a bitchin' 360 on a bank and when I landed the crotch in my jeans blew open. I have a gnarly hole in them now and it sucks because those were my good skating jeans. Then some skateboarder showed up and he was drunk as hell and suprised to see a rollerblader.

I figured out how to fix those Xsjado top straps forever, I just need my next pay day.

if you have an account connected with your credit card then it doesnt show that you have money on paypal account, you can just try to pay and it should work, if it doesnt- paypal will tell you that they couldnt charge your card

Seems like the XL2 will be too expensive anyway, people got all crazy while I was out to eat. Glad I have a few back up plans though !

If I was you I would go for one of these tiny HD cams they make these days. They may be a bit more expensive but you get the much better image quality and a warranty.

I've already been filming with a XM1 quite a few times, and last year I've been using Sunshine's XL1 camera for 6 months. XM1 is compact and basic, pretty good for filming rollerblading actually. I don't care much for people saying it's outdated, I need to learn still and that would be a perfect tool. XL series offer more options, but may not be as useful as a follow cam. Then, the one I used was quite fucked up, so I couldn't experiment much with it.

But as far as size is concerned, I'd like to have something quite big, even though some smaller camera can offer way more technical possibilities. May sound stupid, but let me explain a bit : the bigger, the more serious it looks. I am not talking about rollerbladers perception, but about security guards, passerbys etc. If you ask them for a last trick, or explain you're filming for a big production movie, chances are they'll act a lot cooler when busting you out... Oh, well.
