I think it would be an amazing thing to let a rollerblader get a fair chance to defend himself on your show. The ability for skateboarders to get nation wide audiences to talk shit about what I do is incredibly annoying. We are small in numbers and I fear that eventually a young blader will get physically attacked by a skateboarder because of ignorant bigots like Mr. Ellis. Skateboarding is a multi-billion dollar business and a giant chunk of their culture is dedicated to being fucking cunts about blading. I was wondering when this was going to be mentioned on here. I have sirius and listen to Ellis and Stern everyday. More of a Stern fan, but Ellis does some funny shit on his show. I've always wondered what he thought about rollerblading. He's mentioned Mike Budnik on the show before and how "that rollerblader could probably kick my ass" or something to that point, so I figured he was at least ok with us. Oh well...

It was funny because on the wrap up show they talked about how "Jason Ellis talks about why rollerblading is gay, but rollerskating isn't."

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that I think having a skateboarding/rollerblading challenge would be a fantastic idea. So many people think that rollerbladers are lame and gay, because pricks like this Jason Ellis, whom I've never heard of, constantly criticize our sport on the basis that it is easy because "the boots are strapped to your feet" and "it came from skateboarding." However, if I am correct, which I am, then skateboarding came from roller skating! Yes, it did!

I realize that skateboarders are butthurt about "their" territory being jumped into by a threatening and opposing sport that is very different than their own, but that is no need to shunt that other sport away through childish name-calling. One day, but I am positive it has happened before, a rollerblader will go to a skatepark that is dominated by skateboarders. Those given skateboarders, after getting a hard-on from listening to that Ellis idiot's show the previous night will feel tough and cool after making fun of a rollerblader. The predicted name calling will occur, but they might feel that isn't enough, so they beat him up, severely injuring him.

If you continue to allow drug addled meat-heads attack our sport on your show, I guarantee you that this will happen. Pro rollerbladers such as Brian Shima, Chris Haffey, Mike Johnson, etc. suffer financially after busting their asses at a sport that, by the way, IS much harder and physically demanding than skateboarding ( I would know, I skateboarded for about 6 years, and have rolllerbladed for about 5.) and how much do they make a year? Well, barely enough to live off Top Ramen. How much does skateboarding make? As much as an NBA player, for having TV shows where they corrupt children by making them think it is cool to act like criminals and degenerates. So please take this into consideration, Mr. Stern, and I thank you for your time.

As popular of a skateboarder as this Jason Ellis claims to be, how is it that in my time spent skateboarding and watching old skateboarding videos, contests, and reading their magazines, how is it that I have never heard of him?
