ok so i fell on my back really hard and smashed it on the corner of a ledge and i havent be able to sit stand walk or even lay down without crazy pain and ive been in pain for like a week now, i saw the chiropractor twice and it did no help and they said i dont need xrays...i dont know what the problem is has anyone had this ? does it just take a while to heal? im thinkin i broke somethin or ruptured my spleen or did something to pinch a nerve, idk i never really hurt my back like this

probably a herniated disc. try ice a couple times a day for about 20 minutes, and take aleve a few times a day for a few weeks. when it starts to feel a little better, do some of these stretches, lightly at first until it feels a lot better.

and when it does get better, dont go right into skating hard. do some ab/core exercises to strengthen your lower back.

If it's an issues with the disks and not the vertebrae you'll likely need an MRI, a X-ray won't show you much.

hey i am injured in my lower back also working at the fucking OLIVE GARDEN...
Xrays will not show you shit... it will show you that your back is not in a straight line...

YOU NEED A MRI to see the real damage... I took a MRI and found out I got 2 herniated discs...
BIG NO NO for me
SIT SUCKS WORSE THAN GETTING TRICKED TO EATING CUPCAKES THAT HAD HARVESTED DINGLE BERRIES OVER THEM

i'll bet money that the doctor would tell you the exact thing i posted. other than maybe give you a rx for stronger ibuprofen or naproxen. just do what i said and if its not feeling any better in a few weeks, then go to the doctor.

I would probably be dead if it wasn't for the chiropractor I see.

Yeah, I lurk a bit, still have the interest in blading just not the physical well being to do it on a regular basis. I did however lay down an ill back nugen on a curved handicap rail last month after 4 years off my boots.
