there is a hole in the back of the liner and where the screw goes there is no padding so you dont feel it, the only thing i am afraid of is when the liners wear out is that the screw is going to cut me.

You will need a size Large USD dual soul plates for your US size 9 salo.

You need to make the bottom of your salo boot flat. Then shave off some of the plastic at the back of the boot near the side of your heel area. Do the modification slowly and keep checking back to see the fit. A dremel tool would be useful for doing this mod. You may realise that the usd dual souls are not flat (the heel area is slightly raised). Can either file the back flat, or make a thin plastic adaptor for the front.

It will be worth your time. The souls are huge and the backslide groove is amazing.

ak did u have to trim ur skates to fit those 2 peices. im trying mine on some of the old blue ones. i have the smaller boot size and a M uds white 2 pc soul. i mayde it so the bottom is completely flate. but its still a little wide to slide in there

i did all that with shaving the bottom but the plates seem a little too narrow for the boot to slip in. the mediums are perfect length for them. so i dont want a large.
