Threw on my new xjsado 1.7s I just got for my bday and threw in my M12 Liners because I find the stock razor liners to be a little too low for my liking plus I like my M12 liners..Its wierd how the size 9 liners fit into the size 7 Razor boo perfectly. Stock wheels...

Mostly because i spend more time injured than actually skating
And when i can't skate from injury for months on end i end up buying up skates ready to skate again.
A lot of those are purchases from the net to then find out that they just dont have the ankle support my busted up weak ankle needs.
Others are just cheap ebay skates for a replacement buckle/cuff that ended up being cheaper than buying the buckle on its own.
Also the flash kinda blurs out the grooves and wax marks,but the fiziks were bargains i couldnt pass up even though i really dont like them, they feel way too long. same goes for a lot of those frames. hence the marks of one or two park sessions.
I buy new things, try them out for a week or two and then shelf them and go back to a genesys boot with a GC frame. Ive gone through a lot of cuffs/buckles/souls frames, liners and backslide plates on that murda2 boot.
Baileys were the first real attempt to skate something else in awhile, but my bad shoulder has put an end to that for now.

This is my new setup:
I got them Monday and did some work to them since then.
I bought them complete skate for $30 dollars.
Right when I opened the packed I threw the liners out and the frame (both were killed).
The souls were so worn that the front wrap around wore entirely off, so I cut the negative plates off switched them from boot to boot, shaved at the inside of the soul a little bit and now they are my negative plates.
I had a sheet of UHMW so I cut some new soul plates with a ban saw, used some flathead drill bits to make the perfect bolt holes.
These plates seem just as solid as the stock 4 piece or the night wings.
Also the grind plates on the frames are UHMW. These are gonna last me forever!

i just got some Remz OS'

All black parts, black liners, Black GC Featherlite frames, black M1 Aragon wheels, black 4x4 black widow anti rockers. SOOOOOO hot. i was a bit surprised at the liner, at 1st they felt big cuz my foot was sliding around, but i realised i hadnt tied them, since im not used to that in a reg liner. Once i did that, omg, the liners fit like a glove. Pretty well broken in too right out of the box

honni, i was not owned. make fun of storm chasing? what do you do that makes a difference?

on may 4th i set out to find supercell thunderstorms. conditions were just right for tornadic storms. i was in direct contact with the NWS through an internet message relay system, made for reporting dangerous conditions, to get a warning out to Joe Public.

this was no regular chase day. as the day went on, tornadic parameters grew and grew. a buddy of mine named Reed Timmer had already filmed an amazing tornado earlier in the evening in western OK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNL7ASvl4k4 (so close that an inflow jet actually sucked his phone out of his hand) We were too far north to make it to this tornado and we stayed in SW KS watching some BS storms struggle to develop. if i storm were to go up, it would drop a tornado within 10 minutes of popping up. we waited and waited. around 7:30, we looked at some radar and there was a small storm trying to rotate. we thought about going home but for some reason i just couldnt do it. we watched the storm struggle some more, then as the sun set, the Low Level Jet kicked in and the storm started spinning like a fucking top. we busted west to get closer. as we crested the hill, lightning hit behind the Updraft, back-lighting 2 tornadoes. a multi-vortex cone with a stovepipe to the east of the cone. HOLY SHIT! SHOW TIME. we're screaming our asses off, excitement, horror, dis-belief, and excitement all over again. hours and hours of looking over data and forcast models for a week in advance pays off. we pull over a few times to get some pictures (the only true digital stills of the monster at close range).

each time we stop, my partner sends a report to the national weather service in Dodge City, where Mike Umshied issues a Tornado Emergency for the township of Greensburg 20 minutes before the tornado even gets there. we hear this alert, and our excitement instantly turns to horror. this 1.5 mile beast is churning towards this small town destroying everything in its path, and its getting bigger. the town of Greensburg isn't even 2 miles across. we watch and take pictures knowing that we cant stop this monster. we did all we can do at this point. we think "hopefully with 20 minutes of warning, people realized how dangerous the situation was"

100% of Greensburg was damaged, with 90% COMPLETELY DESTROYED. COMPLETELY. that means not a wall left standing, over half the houses swiped clean, and thrown for up to a mile.

YET, ONLY 10 PEOPLE DIED. TEN. without the chasers, the NWS, and the local TV stations working together, HUNDREDS would have died. HUNDREDS.

thanks honni. yeah, its a pretty fast set up, i had broken my dl II cuffs while skating the other day. they had a fracture crack in them and i was aware of that, and then boom, they break. anyhow, i put my old dl cuffs on em which i painted black a while ago and they look good. i really never thought about how much uhmw was on there, the grind plate on the gcs, the frames, the antirockers. anyhow, i got another setup i am gonna post, i am ramblin, see you at bittercold!

yes, this is what i'm saying, i was just being too specific in my example. All non remz v-cut skates are using V-cut as hype, when they don't actually perform like the skate they are trying to emulate (REMZ).

they arent as tall as the point 8 frames, so its easier to do royale tricks. you definately have to bend over more on coping and ledges though. it doesnt really feel that weird, aside from how much faster they roll.

my baileys had the full toe cut like how revolution do, i love how it skates but i would bash my toes every now and again as the material in the toe area is pretty thin compared to the jj's.

so i just wanted a cut so my toes where a bit more protected. but yea it works great, doesnt flex just as much as the full toe cut but flexibility wise it does feel good

I don't understand the big deal over these. They look really well done, not perfect, but hell, they're skates. I think they look like a fresh pair of black fashions w/ all white parts (shell, buckle, etc.) and a good pair of frames. They are not the best looking valos i have ever seen, but i definitely dig. And didn't they show a pair of low cut fashions at a trade show last year? Best setup ever.

no the skins' tongues are still intact. the roces and valo liners are nearly identical and they have the same little patch that goes right on top of the toe perfectly. the only difference is that the roces toepatchthing is a little bulkier so i had to cut the plastic around where it was, similar to this guy :

They don't fit up front. I already flatend the bottom of the boot.
How did you get the front to fit properly?
Did you grind the sides of the boot or the insides of the souls?
