Not since they got delayed until 2012 and I read reviews of people who had them and they don't sound like they're for me.

Too low of a "cuff" and too stiff.

And I've always skated xsjados without mooks.

A friend of mine who skates OS2s as well, suggested trying them cuffless. I didn't even realize you could, even after switching cuffs a couple times I didn't even notice the predrilled holes for the buckles. I have had problems with the flex, and the cuffs hurt my leg when I flexed sometimes.

But now, they flex like a dream, skate and feel so much better.

I didn't find them that flexible, they hurt the side of my leg when i did. I find I still get pretty good support, without the pain. The only major difference is the forward flex, but I love skating them this way. I don't really do big tricks that I would need major support for anyway.

I skated the white OSes, and the black ones. I thought the full remz like the haffeys or something would be way better and would regret buying OS ones.

I got these used for $45 and decided to get rid of the gaudy color scheme by painting the grey parts black to match the rest of the skin. I think they turned out pretty well. All I have are shitty cellphone pictures that I had to take in my backyard because my phone takes horrible pictures (even worse than these) with indoor lighting.

This picture was taken in autumn 2005 showing the set-up I’ve been skating up until the end of last year.

Size L Senate Kevin Gillan frame (second generation with attached h-block) with 59 mm Cozmo Skank wheels (Manuel Billiris Pro) on the outside and 2nd Regime Randy Spizers (at about 56 mm) on the insides. Stock M12 boot only with USD shock-absorbers.

I’ve always removed any graphics on my wheels before riding them. Don’t know why really, looks better to me.

You may notice how the middle wheels are a bit more narrow than the ones on the outside because of the smaller diameter the have.

I was going through three of those frames and always recycled the axles, because I put much effort in them to make them flush with the frame.

I drilled new wholes into the soulplate to put the frame more towards the peak of the skate. I have the feeling this has positive effects on the transmission of energy to the ground. Especially when going fakie in transitions. I also like to see a whole lot of my front wheels when looking down. Helps me to hit the coping with more confidence.

This has been my miniramp-skate and worked quite well. Very fast skate and okay for grinds on copings. Senates L frame is quite long, but because of the flat set-up it didn’t affect the maneuverability of the skate too much.

I’m on a completely different wheels- and frame-setup now, but UPS lost my camera I sent in to the manufacturer for service, so I can’t provide any pics before I sorted that mess out... ;)

Something I forgot: I relocated the position of the UFS-bolts so I could still access them with an allen key. The wheels sit exactly 5 mm away from each others so I could push the key through them. That worked out pretty well and I never had any hassle to remove any wheels when the frame would become loose.

the frame has a very slighty arch to it
like fluids but not as bad.
also theyre darker cause i skated them twice
which is probably just making them look smaller
cause theyre all def the exact same size.
But i got to go for a quick skate yesterday
getting around was so easy and smooth
its so nice to have new wheels!
when i got the a ledge i didnt stick up on a single trick

The white shells are the Evo 07 Thrones, gold cuffs obviously from the Sagona's and blue cuffs from the Kelso's.

I dunno about you guys but I am really sensitive about my skates. I was never the kinda person who could buy a new skate and skate them out of the box, I need at least one week of tinkering different things to find a set up I like.

I realized do not put different insoles into your carbonz. It will not feel good. You will be higher up from the sole plate which will result in missing topsides and bruised shins, make sure your laces are tied TIGHTLY from the very tip of your toes to the very top. No half assed lacing.

Only today while I was rolling around my kitchen did they start to feel good.

Not really, the Valo souls are slower than NIMH souls.

They are lighter.

Only modification was that i had to cut off the little nub at the heel of the shell

Didn't even drill new holes for the soulplate bolts they're just held on by the frames and they feel very solid.

wrong imo about the sizing equivalent. a marked size 7, is like you said, sz 7 UK. which to me is an 8 US. a full size equivalent bigger.

i have two pairs of wraps, 7 and 7.5. the size 7 ones fit my sz 8 perfectly. sz 6.5 wraps woulda been too tight, on the other hand, 7.5 is just roomy but not over sized.

I was actually looking at the footwrap tag which was worn to nothingness bu just barely visible to read "7.5 US".

It's okay though, I can still use them but also want a new pair of wraps and to give my toes a little moving room.

You gotta find old GC UFS adapters and cut a little bit of the front end (If you cant find any GC adapters you can use an old soul plate frame channel,cutting board, wood, etc but it has to be thick or the frame will sink in the heel plate and make topsides impossible)

I think 50/50 frames flat would suck with xsjado souls cause of its wide royale groove.
