Here you go Nasp,

You gotta find old GC UFS adapters and cut a little bit of the front end (If you cant find any GC adapters you can use an old soul plate frame channel,cutting board, wood, etc but it has to be thick or the frame will sink in the heel plate and make topsides impossible)

(Pay no attention to the widened UFS hole)

Make sure the adapter fits right into the area of the heel plate

Place the adapter in and mark on the heel plate where the UFS hole is. Take out the adapter and drill a hole into the into the heel plate through the heel of the skate.

M12 boots have the least heel lift out of any skate I've tried. I tighten the fuck out of my laces and I get none whatsoever. The skate seems to wrap perfectly around my feet with no excess plastic jutting out anywhere. I also hate the Cult boot inside the Nimhs; this setup is the perfect remedy.

I love the Nihm souls but hate the boot.
I love the M12 boot but souls are hard to come by and I hate Valo plates.

Only modifications you have to do is shave around the heel area of the boot; it's a little too wide for the souls.
Also I should add that if you intend on skating a 6-7 size m12 boot your soulplates my stick out a little bit around the edges. My plates are sized down.

Ah... well I would say that it's about the same as with the Roces souls. The plates line up with the bottom of the boot perfectly (the cult and m12 molds are fairly similar). I don't feel like I'm leaning too far forward or anything; it's pretty flat. I use gel shock absorbers, too.

And you are correct with the sizing, Al.

No it's not.
Put an M12 boot next to a Razors flat boot, and the only difference is going to be the plastic itself. Maybe my memory is going, but im 99% sure about this.

The "M12" shell is the original Lightning shell, made by Roces in Italy, for Rollerblade (Roces was Rollerblade's manufacturer for ten years or so). The "Cult" shell is a generic copy of the M12/Lightning, created by a Chinese manufacturer for their various clients to use, some of which have included Razors, USD, and Nimh. It looks very similar to the M12/Lightning shell, cosmetically, because it is an imitation- kinda like those fake iPods you buy at the shady weekend fleamarket- but the fit and sizing is different.

Here are my skates as of yesterday. They have a brick and mortar color scheme going on, but I will be buying some flat black plastic spray paint and blackening those cuffs soon. They have bits and pieces from Farmer 1s, 2s, and Stockwell 2s. I also have the Farmer 1 instep pad that's a navy/dark-gray color that I might use when I color the cuffs.

Right now they are light gray, dark gray, black, white, cream, and silver. The souls on my right foot are 3 colors :?

I finally got around to using the the plastic spray paint on those gross red cuffs. Wooo, it came out perfectly. I did about 3 coats, it seems strong enough. I also sprayed the toe strap pad too.

Deciding which pad to use.

I was changing the instep pads from the Stockwells 2s to the Farmer 1s when I noticed that Farmer's were very very thin, while the Stockwells were thick and used a different material. That would mean the Farmer pad would offer more flex on the sides and maybe more flex in the front too. I didn't want that, these skates are already a little too bendy for me right now. I decided on the Stockwell 2 light gray pads

I was able to pick the maybe last baileys here in germany.
I choosed the smallest size with toe cut and it fits okay.
Only the trust dont work in it,which is sad,but i still got a pair of vinny minton 2s so its okay.

I personally like to Nick Wood my skates, but not to the same extent.

I rub them on the ground, draw dicks on them, eat burritos and run them through dirt.

Having brand new skates make me feel like a noob.

LOL, no sir. I just hadn't put my remz straps on them yet. I skate them laced up to the top, remz strapped. They put alot if pressure on my shins though. sucks.

Boot is totally stock except the soul plates.
I cut/peeled off the top layer of useless fabric off the tongue, scraped and melted the glue off with a lighter to make it all smooth.
I cut apart the bottom pad to be the size of a regular pad, opened it up and pulled out the thin layer of poofy foam and flipped it upside down for the black leather side to be showing.
Also pulled out a layer of foam in the tonge.
On th top padding i hated how thick it was so I also cut that open from the bottom and pulle dout the thick layer of poofy foam.
These layers of poofy foam don't do anything but make them feel loose imo.
And theyre still plenty comfy, just more responsive and slim now.
I took out the back screw and strape thing on the back, useless imo.
I have the padding set up and the straps set midway down.
Just like the way it feels that way.
I don't have a toe pad cause ive never found them to be beneficial.
With the straps being too long I decided to cut the strap in the back and melt it together so the velcro lines up properly when tighten, rather than just cutting the ends off.
I did however just cut the ends off of the toe straps.
Farmer 2 foot wraps with blue Jug inserts. Love them!
And a size small 5050 core with 57mm 90a hyper King 2 series wheels.

Actually Tyson, later that day a friend of mine gave me brand new razor laces. But I didn't have the camera on me. :(

yeah razors plastic seems to do that, my m3's are a light piss yellow color these days. i tend not to wear them. except my original evo thrones are still as white as the sky is blue. i like them more

those remedyz look fucking amazing i hope they skate as good as the look. i didn't even notice you hate put the carbon souls on them.

I usually skate GCs, but tried these Fluids out of curiosity. Good on concrete, super slooow on metal. No grindwheels this time as I was in a hurry (and had to skate sunk-in poolcoping anyways)... 8)

what size are those wheels and what are they?
very smooth looking setup.

They are about 70 mm now, I guess. The size L Kizer is a bit longer as my previously used FLT II in size M, so I could not fit them in properly (they came as 72 mm).

The frame skates surprisingly well on curbs, but it’s not much fun on rails. Kinda slow...

Amazing.
Did those come stock with removable cuffs or did you paint the screws on the back yourself?
And did the St9s come in 2 colors?
Cause I know the the ST 8s is the exact same skate but with brown lace tabs and not cut out on the tongue of the liners.
And the ST9 that I'm familiar with is a lighter tan and the lace tabs are the same light tan but have the same cut outs in the tongue of the liner.
I guess I just answered my own question.. Lol.

The st8s are actually a darker brown, whereas the st9s are more of a gray/sand color. I have also noticed that there are creamy st9s that came with light blue frames/souls and ones that came with whitish-tan frames/souls.

Yea, they did two runs of the '99 ST9, one had the baby blue frames and one had white frames.

The '99 ST8's are darker than the '98 ST9's. And there's more that's different between the ST8 and ST9 than just the holes in the tongue shank, the ST9 liners have a different, better, heat-moldable foam.

But I really love my ST8 liners even after like 7 months on them now.

Not at all.
I lace it tight then strap it tight.
Same support as with the buckle but with the strap you get forward flex.

I have to apologize for the last pic of my crbns.
Got some new souls thanks to SK and put on my DIs with HiLo wheels.
Made some fresh instep straps out of old Senate backpack strap, velcro strips and hot glue. Working great so far.
