I assume you're referring to ledges/non circle stuff. Pointy angled/painted ledges with slight bevels and recycled plastic benches are way easy to frontside. Rounded off ledges/benches take way more effort. Also, skates with the wrap around souls that continue on the inside would be even easier.

Well i'm my feet are 10inches long from heel to big toe and i wear a 7 in most sneakers, but no bigger than 7.5. Right now i'm rockin adidas shell tops in a 7 and these sz6 carbons fit better as far as length and width.

Got my GC Featherlites from someone at the Trade and Sell forums and put back the original Sifika liners. Still waiting on the Chris Farmer 4x4 wheels that I won from eBay. For now, I got some old school Meatz wheels with some "Swiss" bearings that I won from eBay.

So sweet, definitely the way to go having a size 8 liner in that shell that's what i've got cause the 8-9.5 shell was ridiculously big.

How come they have V1 cuffs though?

I'm waiting on new wheels to arrive hopefully tomorrow then i'll post my Shaman setup.

the cuffs were a mistake actually, hopefully i can swap them out for V2s sometimes this week

No, he skates the padding "rockered down" and says the rather cushy farmer wraps work well in them. I skated them with my Wilsons and it didn't work out at all for me... ;)

Thanks, I have yet to see someone else do this with the USD soulplates on 250ccs, I think it's a first. Maybe those ThisIsSoul.nl guys did it, they have all kinds of weird shit.

i'll post an in-depth demo/breakdown in a month or so, these aren't finished yet and I don't have time to focus on them right now.

ST 1 is harder. I skate ST 8. So perfect.
I used a size small soul on mine.
Go with a small probably. You'll just have to shave more from the bs and fs areas on the souls.
But it will be worth not having even wider souls.

Mintons are hard.
ST-8 are soft.
ST-pro, with white cuffs are soft.
ST-80 is a hard boot with a very soft cuff. That might be your best.

Al posted how to do it and that was basically what I had done, maybe a few things differently. Though I made them like a year and a half ago before Al put up instructions how to do it. I think the thread was called Homemade Hitchhikers or maybe just Hitchhikers. It's somewhere in the Reviews and Hardware section if you search for it, I think its on the second page of the topic.

those some bonkers skates. how do they skate? i've always wondered because people always talked shit on them

no waaaaaaaay!
the seven's are by far best skates USD has produced (not counting carbons, cause I haven' tried those). they're light, flexy (as flexy as some CH1's) still have a lot of support, the v-cut is nice, the stock hardware on the gonzo's were ace. the soulplates are big, fast, hold up well. they skate similar to M12 and valos but with a better soulplate. definately a killer skate!
