My feet are too wide for the 6-7 Classic Razor shell. I'd have to cut the Bridges and then lose all my support. Plus my Reigns wouldn't fit in them.

They are SL cuffs Al, lol. I'm waiting on the Nimh cuffs and then the buckles will be on the outside. And the 50-50s are Meds, I love the wheelbase length, and it's what I'm used to so I'm not gonna go bigger. What should I use to trim the toe?

i have no issue with the heal, ankle area. i cut the bridge to get width on the sides of the skate, My foot is wider starting right before my toes so that makes teh sides of the skate move out and the top of the bridge is to low for me so it mashes my toes down

This. yoga mat is a bad idea. If you want your skate to be more comfortable put the mat or a thin footbed inside your skate. or liner. your skates are going to flex with out solid contact.

sweet, it's propably because you skate harder shells. Mine were 2004 St Pro's, the softest shell, that's propably why they warped. But they will feel even more solid with soulplate screws on yours too.

it's good except for those small circles where the soulplates are really thin, but you will be able to do that for most bolts, 4 a skate on each side for sure :cool:

1. Solos look so sexy when they're set up right. So far I noticed I've been liking setups where all parts are the same/similar color, or the souls and boot match/are similar.
2. Dual Injections are probably the sexiest frame I've ever seen. I kinda miss mine.
3. See those two triangles cut out of the boot (in front of the ankle strap)? You should paint the exposed part of the liner there gold. Would be unbelievably sick.

yah its my park skate. feels pretty good man. i'm actually digging the widebodies. the combination of the short frame and 4 inch wide soul plate means i might actually learn torques, the angle is that mild. i think i would be able to chill on backslides too. that is, if i didn't have these flat rockered. i refuse to do any grind where my front foot is on the hblock

i never actually skated salmons before, but the goddamn cult of salmon got me curious and i randomly saw a pair of ninja salmons on ebay in what appeared to be my size so i scooped. these don't have individual half sized shells do they? if so, i think i wish i would have gone for an 8.5

Widebodies... well I guess they would be good for leaning torques, but only as a checkpoint to learning them with regular bs plates. I suggest you take those off for a session and try doing some savannahs= you'll see how awesome they will feel/look.

Took off the mid buckle and second pair of laces. Laced through the boot and liner.
I find that if you lace them correctly you don't need the extra strap.

So far they're extremely painful and hurt my toes. Also getting blisters on the inside.
How long is the break in period on these or should I just throw them in the garbage now?

Edit: also the groove on the frame is wayyyyy too fucking wide on these things.

I finally downsized a shell on my M12's. Now I'm riding an 8-9 shell. Well known fact, the M12's run small. My toes were so painfully squeezed together I could barely skate half an hour until the pain got unbearable. As there's no skin on, like on valo's, I couldn't toe cut them. I had to figure out a different way to ease the pain and allow my toes to have a little wiggle room. This is what I came up with:

I don't know if anyone has done this before, I have never seen it done. This way, the shell stays intact, on the other hand, there's finally enough room for my toes. Also, doing toe rolls and pushing myself while rolling has become a lot easier, I believe because of my toes being closer to the frames. I grinded the edge of the sole about 30 degrees so it doestn't cut into my feet. Here's what the skates look like now.

I didn't have a problem with length! My toes were pushed from the top of the toe box. This cut gave about 4 millimeters of vertical space. Though somehow it feels longer, maybe because I can pull my toes back a little bit. Logical now? :)

oh, yeah, almost forgot! through the cut I was able to sandpaper down some material from the toe box. Eliminating more plastic could also give more toe room.

Andnim setting up my stock trs frames with flat 54mm senate sinners I found on amazon. Even if they core in 2 sessions I still have bearings for another flat setup

So, I wasn't content with how restrictive my Shamans had felt so I did some work on them (thanks to Zach Flynn for the idea). Basically I cut the toe bridge out completely/trimmed the shell back in the front (rounded it out as well) and cut both plastic on the sides back a bunch. Then I vcutted the cuffs/liners (how jc rowe did it so you can re-attach the existing fabric to the exposed area)/skins. Finally I put the shell back under the skin and gorilla glued the skin to the plastic left on the shell as well as bolted the liners to the frames (like os remz).

they are not bad at all really

you just need to change the hard ware liners and souls and they make pretty good skates

the following souls go on the easiest:
carbon
2 piece
rollerblade trs
solo
salo wide bodys
deshi ch1
and with a good bit of work you can put xsjado souls on
and any roller blade cuff will work

the liner material is noisy as shit so changing the liners makes them pretty noiseless
but aside from that the stock liners are actually pretty comfortable

Nope, it doesn't. Once I realized they were wrong, I didn't feel like flipping them or flipping the wheels so the graphics are facing outward.
