The Deshi souls weren't UHMW at all. They were molded, which you can't do with UHMW.

The only thing bad about the RB Solos is the backslide angle if you use frames other than the Switch frames. Everything else is pretty much on point. They're solid, responsive, comfortable, fit well...

This reminds me I need to sell the Carbon 2's I have sitting in my basement that I've only used once and I don't plan to use again.

Genesys boots suck because they have horrible heel lift. This is why lots of people were double-buckling theirs before the SL's came out. Yeah, they are cheap and OK skates, but the SL's are better...
