hey, i decided to make a similiar post to RollTRSRoll's but with a poll so we could see the overall statistics. i'm very interested in this as an educational tool- i am currently working on a "picking skates that fit/getting the right size skate" reference/informational article for the site. it'll be kinda similiar to my re/previews in that it will be very in-depth and technical, and hopefully give some real insight into skate performance and characteristics.

so, log in, respond to the poll, and once we get a few dozen responses and i've got my article up, i'll respond with some interesting experiments for you all to perform. if you'd like, make note of which skate you ride in your post, and what sizes you wear in other footwear (shoes, ski boots, other skates, etc.).

guess i might as well be the first to reply....... i wear a 9 or 9.5 in accurately-sized skates (like "classic"-boot k2's, old razors, etc.), in skates that run big, like my last few pairs (new k2's, TRS, Genesys-shell razors, etc) i normally wear an 8 or 8.5.

in shoes, i usually wear 9.5, sometimes 9.

snowboard boots, usually 9, sometimes 8.5.

i'm currently riding size 8 TRS's.

i forgot to mention, if you know what your foot measures on a US shoe size scale, post that. mine are about 9.75 length, D width.

i wear a size 8/8.5 in deshi, k2, new razors mold and remedyz. but in classic thrones, ufs thrones, classic razors i wear a 9.

i skate sz 10.5 usd ufs thrones. i wear sz 10 shoes, but 9.5 birkenstocks.

ummm yea, i wear a size 7 ...... i'm 19 yrs old, like 5,7 and about 150 pounds... seems about right to me. o yea thats a 7 in the freshest bladez ever ( rollerblade boieee ) and you know this man.

in shoes, i wear a 7 ( they're from 10th grade so they're pretty old, but fit )

snowboard boots, dont have a clue.... too poor for one of 'dim

so that leaves me a bit fucked... so i ride the 8-9 shell with size 7 liners...

Classic k2s: 8.5 US
Salos: 8 US
New K2: 7.5 US
TRS: 7-7.5 US
USD Classic thrones: 8 US, although I would attemp to try 7 just to get the sloppy boot size down.
Genesys Rzrs: 8 US, again, I would like to dowsize to se if sz 7 fits

skate sizings are fucked..........i skate a size nine razor old boot.......but i can fit into size eight in the new boot.........and a size eight trs are also perfect for my feets ..........i bought size nine trs like a year ago and they were too big......i had to sell em and get new skates......so i got razors and the same size in that skate was perfect for me......confusing

I used to always get a size bigger but now I get the same size (or half a size bigger) as my shoes as my feet dont grow anymore. But yeah, I got size 9 shoe and size 9 1/2 Salomons so its all good.
