Thread: UFS Hole Spacing Length

    Default UFS Hole Spacing Length

Hey does anyone on here know the correct spacing between the two holes on a UFS frame?
I am working on building a quick model of some frames in Rhino and dont have the spacing measurement with me, i left it in my studio at school along with my skates.

    Any help would be awesome.

    Kyle.

    167mm between the hole centres.
    20mm diameter x 3mm deep plug/hole.
Officially the frame channel is 41mm wide and UP TO 6mm deep (this means your frame should be no wider than 40mm for the uppermost 6mm) but most manufacturers use 3mm max deep channel.
    Good luck man.

Awesome. I am going into my senior year at Pratt Institute for Industrial Design and am planning on spending the year designing a pair of boots, frames and some new buckle concepts.

If you would be able to give me some insight into the design of skate products it would be really helpful.

My email is [email protected] and i have some of my work posted at www.coroflot.com/kylesola

    Thanks again,

    Kyle.

Here's some insight. GET A REAL HOBBY. Skating is going down the drain kid. Nobody wants designer products. IT'S A WASTELAND.

My insight would be if you're good at something, never do it for free. You should get in touch with the guys that own Create Originals, perhaps they will be interested in your ideas.

    P.S. Awesome picture.
