They are my favorite soulframes, and I am just trying to figure out if there is a way to put them on the Carbons. I remember AMall had an adapter to do this on the old Deshi's a few years back....

The soulplate should pretty much bolt right on, they're flat and the boot is flat (other than the leather wrapped around the toe/forefoot), the main issue is going to be attaching the backslide. Which can be done by just drilling and countersinking some holes through the soul and BSP, next to the stock hole (where the soul and BSP overlap).
As for dealing with the leather being wrapped around and creating a ridge around the boot... you might be able to get away with just bolting it on and the plate bending a bit, personally I'd probably make a riser/spacer out of some thin plastic sheet, to bring the rest of the boot surface down to the same level as the leather.
Actually, now that I think about it, you might have to grind some material out from the back of the BSP, it would depend on how wide the boot is in comparison to the souls/BSP's.
Hmmm....K, gonna look into it tonight. Time to rip apart the old Gens...and the rusted stripped bolts in the soul plates....
ill take your carbon souls
just use carbon souls...
You're really not gonna find a better soul than carbon souls.
But, if you're gonna do razors I would jsut grind down the back of the bs plate and drill a hole into boot.
Most people wouldnt recommend that but I dont think one little hole will hurt.
Can somebody link me to Salomons with Carbon souls, please?
I think I’ve seen them somewhere on here, but I can’t find them anymore..:![]()
Beyond sick. And I still have not tried, still skating the carbon souls. Its really more of a when mine die is it an option thing, but they were my fav souls.Originally Posted by chris k

Agreed, very nice, other than the part where he took the stock engine out of his Ferrari and put in a Honda Civic engine instead.Originally Posted by Makio
+10 for presentation, -5 for content. I know, and this is strictly for me, that my groove is right where the bs groove is on the carbons, and they slidevery well so I fail to see how he put rice in his pasta.Originally Posted by al dolega
