    Default Computer geeks

One of my laptops is able to connect to the network without any problems.

My new laptop once connected to the network without any problems.

My new laptop now gets the "Limited or no connectivity" nonsense. (Can not access the Internet.)

I think it has something to do with my router assigning IP addresses to the laptops.

It's pissing me off that this problem is even occurring considering the fact that it was working perfectly before and I haven't even changed anything with my router in a year.

    Any ideas?

if you have 2 dicks, both
if you have 1 dick, in the computer that is giving the problems

sometimes there is a little button for your wireless card on your keyboard and people turn them off all the time without realizing. try that.

I'm not stupid like most people. The wireless card is enabled via computer AND external switch.

If this were true you'd probably be on google looking up your router, laptop, or some sexy combination of both...instead of posting a thread asking 14 year old wiggers and Charlie Hustles how to fix a very vague problem.

Be-Mag is last resort before calling technical support. I don't want to talk to some out-sourced desert traveler.

Of course I also went through Google searching for answers and came up empty handed because I'm not completely sure of the specificity of the problem.

That's OK. I don't think before I post and I like seeing my little number increase by one.

Resetting the router was the first thing I did. I don't use network discs.

The connection was working on the new laptop before without any need for a network setup disc.

I avoid wireless like the fucking plague. Is there anything around your laptop, electronic wise, that might be fucking with the internet gets? Seems like my connection always tanks when I'm forced onto wireless when I'm sitting over the by TV and stereo or something.

I'm assuming neither of which actually have any influence on my shitty connections. Ethernet cables for life, son.

What's wrong with wireless? That's what I have and I don't have any problems with it.

I have been using a hard-wired connection on my new laptop. I was just trying the wireless connection to see if I go the same results. I got the same results.
