RIP. I didn't know him other than his posts on this messageboard and a brief encounter at BCSD, but I know the world has lost a great human being. I would like to suggest to DK "The James Short Memorial Bitter Cold Showdown"

You were a really nice guy, always positive. And you never had a mean thing to say about anyone. I wish I had talked to you a little more. You will definitely be missed. RIP James.

When I saw James screen name sign offline tonight, it was one of the saddest things ever for me. Knowing, that I will never see wolverinechops9m signed on my buddy list ever again.![]()

I just read through every page out of respect for the Man. He left a positive impact on this world and everyone he knew. Even with us people he only knew online, we could still tell how nice of a person he was.
You will be greatly missed James Short. R.I.P.

This is horrible. RIP. I use to talk to him a bit. He was a very nice and funny guy.
It's unfortunate that he wasnt wearing a helmet or he probably would have lived. It's one thing to not wear one when skating when you are mostly in control but riding a motorcycle without one is another story. Wear your helmets!
Just heard about this from s3. I talked to him a lot on the phone and online, I even offered him a place to stay if he ever made it down here on his motorcycle. He was one of the best guys, ever. He will definitely be missed.
R.I.P., my friend.
I'm wearing my helmet for James from now on.
