when i was way younger i did a few times, i was bored and just skated around my house and grinded some ledges at a shopping center, but that was sooo long ago, now no.
spots have been popping up next to my house constantly. so lately ive been missioning it with my friend cory and then going out late afterwards to look for new shit. almost everynight (give or take one or two nights) in the past two weeks i have found new spots.
its fucking cool.
yeh i used to when i was 16/17, im just so bored sat refreshing myspace in hope someones said something, feel like going out, doing a few random small gaps and what not. recon i could just go round the block....
i always find somthing to skate even when im just rolling around bombing hills. just the other night i found this really nice white ledge on the left side going down a sidewalk next to some office. it just kinda happens. i go out just to roll around and end up learning somthing on some shit ive never skated before.

the funnest things to skate on your own is a road with speed bumps, kicking off them and spinning, spinning over them, just playing around stuff.
haha i was doing the the night before last. there is this parking lot near my house with these super slick speed bumps. i would go and five one and then fakie three another and then back unit the last one....so fucking fun.
ive done it a few times realllllly late at night or when i was touring with my brothers band and i just rode around random cities

lookin at all the walls me and my best mate (doesn't skate anymore) used to have games of stall skate on haha.
skated this mellow high rail, could never do it when i was younger, got it second try, its about 3 meters long and just below hip (im 6'2 btw)
but yeh, bombing down hills was so much fun.
I just got back from a solo night session as well. I get out of work and strap on my skates, jump shit on my way to some ledges near me and skate em for a while challenge myself to learn something new everytime. I just throw on some instrumentals and skate. Its the best thing you can do after a long day.
Unfortunately EVERY session for me is a solo session unless it's with a skateboarder.
But yeah I do solo night sessions.
i think i'll do them more often, i work 1:30 till 9:30 so i'll start going out at night more, it'll be good to make sure i dont get fat sitting in an office allday, and its major fun.

When I was 18 and finally moved out on my own, in this city called Tours, I actually had a chance to skate more than the 2 same spots over and over.
In fact, I could actually see those two handicap rails from my window. Then, I knew a few ledges around the neighborhood, a bunch of random stuff also.
I would just randomly skate around, find stuff, do a lot of cess slides when it would rain (skating UFS thrones can do that to you)... Just actually skate street.
It felt great, I kinda miss that, but I'm doing it all over again once I'm back in France ah !

i used to have an awesome like gate near me, it was a thicker rail, about 5 meters long started about 2.5 ft high and went to the floor, but it got took out, id be there now otherwise.
haha fuck that neil, while its summer thats the worst place to go, getting stabed = not fun.
