I heard that Franky is a really nice and decent guy, probably wasn't into embarrassing himself by beating somebody up in front of cameras.

franky is one of the nicest and most humble pros out there. He is a great role model, always talkin to the lil groms and skates with anyone.

every contest i've seen franky at he is constaintly talking to young skaters, giving advice on tricks and pumping people up to try new tricks and refine current tricks. at bcsd he was helping my lil 12 year old buddy topsoul higher quarterpipes, such a nice dude

Yeah, compare frankie's 540 gap at the LG and stephane's 540. Frankie landed and had a big smile on his and gave shima and a few other people high fives. True pro like.

Stephane lands it right after he did it, and throws his helmet down, skates to every camera he can find so he can flip it off, leaves his helment and all of the padding on the ground and the comp is still going, and he skates off cz he thinks he's done.

staphane should never be a pro, he holds no qualities of a professional skater.

and why don't we beat him up when we see him? Well I never heard much of this guy when I met him, he did a few things but We are fairly tolerant. Then he pulled this shit at the LG and no one could find him. He must have went directly back to his hotel. I doubt he'll be in seattle again but he almost got his ass beat just for snaking my roommate at skatebarn a few nights before. My roommate was praying that he did ti one more time so he can go and run him down.

Sounds like a real class act!? In a contest like that, with major corporate support tied in with the fact that our industry is on life support, there is absolutely no reason to act like that and flip off the cameras and throw shit around.

Look at all the other professional action sports athletes, they act CLASSY and are grateful for what they have and rarely have outbursts like this. To be honest, it's fucking embarassing to see rollerbladers still acting this way... and to top it off, it is after Franky does it. Haha, noone can 540 better than Franky so why even try it?

The bottom line is, people need to see our sport and all the amazing talent we have what is so shadowed and overlooked from the public eye by other action sports. And to hear that a guy acted like this at a contest in front of a large non-rollerblader fanbase is absolutely embarassing.

I Do Agree that Rolling needs ass holes like Stephane but there needs to be some boundaries between ASSHOLE and just Disrespectful. I say keep Stephane but beat his ass like the spoiled brat he is. Then welcome him to events with a warning that he will certainly get stomped if he steps out of line. I'm 100% positive that he'll comply unless he likes getting his shit fed to him.
