I find that it is most acceptable to make someone out to be the best person possible after their death. It seems, logically to me, like you would do that by focusing on the good things that they did during their life, and writing off the bad things. I think that him trying to make a fool of someone for a sweater they wore as bad.
In retrospect, I find this idealism something to be embraced. the act of focusing on good things instead of bad seems narrow-minded or hindering to your great perspective of things, but maybe it is what we need to counter-act all the mean, or bad tendencies we seem to have. That being said, I think we should enact that same mentality towards everyone, alive, dead, friends, enemies.. How cute, right?
