    Default FUUUUUUUU (Tech help!)

So our brand new TV was delivered yesterday. With the wrong home cinema set. We left the set in the box, and waited for them to replace it today. It arrived early this morning.

So now I'm hooking the damn thing up to an HDMI port on the TV, and there's no signal coming through at all. No image on any of the 4 HDMI channels. Nada. The power's on, the Blu ray player/amp responds to the remote, but there's no picture or sound. The disc tray also won't open. Does anyone have any clue how this could work? If not I'm taking it back to the store tomorrow for an exchange.

I tried trouble shooting/online support, to no avail.

make sure ur TV is set to the right input(IE HDMI 1 or 2 or what ever it is).

try the cable with a different device to see if its the cable or the TV

Does the TV work on other inputs(say the component works fine, or get an old DVD player and try analog or s video)

plug the blu ray player into another TV.

pretty much just eliminate possible things that could be broken to see which one is actually messed up. could just be a case of a shitty hdmi cord.

It's set to the right input.

The cable works on my 360

    The TV inputs all work.

    Don't have another TV.

well u already trouble shooted the TV and cable, because the tv is working with other devices and the cable works on ur xbox. so that just leaves something with the player. either its working, or not set up correctly. and i dont think u set it up wrong(1 cable from there to the tv isnt that hard). so id say fuck with it a little more and if still nothing bring that bitch back.
