first forest fire and then respect.

if you want to watch it you'll have to do with this for now:

    http://be-mag.com/msgboard/viewtopic.php?t=246584

or write beau cottington some pm's or emails to tell him he's a bit of a welcher.

i'm well aware of the fact that all these videos are his work and he can do with them what he wants but asking people to take their uploads down and then never uploading the videos himself is bullshit.

glad to see this isn't working anymore, if you want to be cool you can buy this video and support me since i lost a ton of money doing it.
or you can bitch and complain i am not giving away my soul to any dumbass that can work a dvd ripping program. Some of us take this shit more serious than that, if you have any comments for me i suggest you say them in person or keep them to yourself. I have been soul grinding long than most of you have been alive.

Beau, how did you lose money making the video? Isn't it just footage you already shot, re-edited to music you probably already had and then duplicated?

Like, if you got, what, 2000 printed? Thats about $2500? $3000?

You only need to sell a quarter to make your money back. Absolute maximum, you lose $3000.

Anyway, I got it for free for reveiwing it in Unity magazine. Loved it!

it cost more than that just for duplication. for the smallest run of $2500 it is over $4k. Then you have the hundreds of hours i spent logging all the old tapes, editing the video and MAKING THE SOUNDTRACK. Some kids forget the entire soundtrack is produced from the ground up by rollerbladers.
I literally put my entire life into this video, barrowed money, got loans, went into debt bigtime so when people want to treat it like it should be free or that is doesn't matter that much to me... they could not be more wrong. When you don't make money, all you get is feedback and reputation. So for every view online, i want that view to count for something not for some random kids' you tube profile. I want my films to be seen how i intended, and in the BEST quality possible. Then at the end of the day you copyright which legally protects my work from others mis-use, which i never like to call out on but some kids force me too. Just show me some respect is all i ask, i have put more blood sweat and tears in skating than most and when i am appreciated it is all worth while. when i am not, i get very angry and i take action immediately. I know skating is underground, but if you can't respect something like video industry structure and copyrights then no one will make money on videos, then in turn will not invest time and money in making them, and rollerblading will go no where fast.
