a gas leak. use caution, watch for explosions
I'm being serious.
start by checking near the gas tank. use a lighter to help you see
firing a shotgun into the gas tank will usually help as well.Originally Posted by television headed robot

That could be caused by a lot of things. Does the car seem to be using more gas than normal?
When you park and then leave again, look and see if there is any liquid on the ground. That could be oil (black), water from the ac (water) but if you notice one and it smells like gas you have a better reason to have it looked at.
It could just be running "rich" and that could be from a number of things. Spark plugs, catalytic converters clogged ect.
Is it only noticeable when it starts? Does it smell like gas during the drive?
Have your dad or a male take it in if you do because the guys at the store will screw you.
get the fuck out, you cant even drive yet.Originally Posted by ripin jax

when you start the car, your fuel injectors squirt extra fuel into the combustion chamber to help the car start. usually not all of the fuel gets burnt so it ends up traveling out of the combustion chamber and through the exhaust. a thing in your exhaust called the muffler bearing collects the unburnt fuel which is then sucked back into the fuel tank by vacuum. your bearing probably just needs to be replaced.
I thought this thread said cat people.
So I already went to my favorite sites to post photos on here.
Then I realised you have car problems.
I'll post kitties anyways
