who has it and how is it so far?
I just bought the game 2 days ago... And I FUCKING LOVE IT....
Graphics and characters are are spot on, character building and weapons are amazing.
The RPG aspect of the games is flawless so far. Voice over work is perfect.
I have no complaints for this game, but I have only been able to put about 5 Sold hours into the game.

It tries too hard to be Fallout 3 in some aspects.
I want to get this game so bad, but I just can't convince myself to do it.
Why put all the effort into building an awesome character in a mainly multi-player game when it's a game that's likely going to get tossed aside once MW2 comes out.
I really want to get into an awesome co-op game though.

I play as a Hunter... Skills... Sniper and Pistols....
They could have easily made this game into a MMORPG....

I never said the players were going to ruin it. I said MMMMMMOOOOORPERGERS are terrible games.
I play it on PS3 with a buddy of mine. It's way too fun. We live like 10 miles from each other so there isn't any lag. Once we get in a coop game, I usually find myself there for a few hours at least. Definitely happy with this game.
I'm a soldier. I started as a hunter and accidentally picked up some shitty pistol. I thought my sniper rifle was gone forever so I quit and picked a new class. Little did I know it was just moved to my inventory. I have had a few problems with items disappearing though. I found some mods that were worth like 16 g's, 4 of them. I picked up all 4 and only 2 were in my inventory and none were equipped. When I went to the store later, they were there though.
I'm just gonna get Borderlands and Left 4 Dead 2 (completely amazing) during Birthday/Christmas time, and already have Modern Warfare 2 paid for. Comes out in 5 days.
Random weapon generator in Borderlands is the craziest thing about the game. There's like 600,000 weapons.
According to Gearbox, there are over 17 million 750 thousand different variations of weapons, as of release.

I've heard great things about this game, and kinda want to try it, but with MW2 and L4D2 both coming out in the next two weeks, I think I'll be a little full in the FPS genre. I'll probably get this like next summer when it's only $25 used and there aren't any other good games coming out for months to come.
