    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

15 things about It’s About Time:

1: The video was filmed primarily on the Panasonic DVX100b with some Panasonic HVX-200.

2: It’s 50 minutes long and has over an hour of bonus features.

3: Chris Piasick from “Print Brigade” did an awesome job on the Graphics.

4: East Coast OG – John Williams who is 33 held it down and has full profile that showing that old guys can skate street well too.

5: Skaters with full profiles are Jeff Dalnas, Andrew Smolak, Andy Leiterman, Johnny Wu, Winston Wardwell, and Quinn Feldman

6: Mini Profiles consist of Anthony Chen, Benny Strout, Brian Long, Casey Gerraghty, Gabe Holm, John O’donnell, Jimmy Gill, Julio Amiyama, Kyle Couture, Keegan Smith, Mo Marzuq, Scott Cambell, and Taylor Green.

7: Winston filmed his part in 7 days. I took Winston on a trip throughout New England to get footage of him skating as many spots as possible in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. I probably did more filming in this week then I ever have in my life. Filming blisters, hunchback and all. I was sore to say the least and Winston was hurting by the end of the week as well. Producing a full length section as well as clips through the entire video in a week is simply amazing.

    8: I filmed for 6 months between May-November 2008

9: Editing the actual video took about 2 months and the DVD was completed on February 2nd 2009

10: All the basic editing was done first and the titling afterwards. The titling took a whole weekend to add color and lay down all of the names.

11: This is an independent skate video release, with very little sponsorship funding, so how did I fund the project? I spent all my savings from working two jobs over 6 months to produce this video.

12: I ended up spending close to $4,000 on making this video by the time it was released. This was due to the over $4.00 gas prices over the summer of 2008 while travelling to shoot the video as well as other promotional costs, Winston’s plane ticket from Cali, and duplication costs. Originally I wasn’t planning on spending more than $2,000 on the project. However wasn’t able to raise much funding and had to pay the rest out of pocket to get it released.

13: This has been my biggest monetary and time investment on a single skate project ever. Even if I don’t make anything off of it I hope people enjoy watching it and appreciate the hard work I put into it. It’s certainly good for the New England scene and entertaining for even those who don’t rollerblade.

14: The production blog has been updated throughout the summer until now with leftover footage, montages, photos, promo edits, and trailers. Check it out at www.masterblader.wordpress.com

    15: The soundtrack consists of:
    Intro:
    Lovely Allen - holy fuck
    Opener:
Spoon – I turn my camera on
    Opener 2:
My Teenage Stride – Ears like Golden Bats
    Smokes:
Slaughter and the Dogs - Boston Babies
    Montage 1:
    DL – Massterpiece
    Andy Leiterman:
    T-Rex – Jeepster
    Montage 2:
    Perceptionists – 5 O’clock
    Jeff Dalnas:
    Suede – Golden gun
    Montage 3:
    Built to Spill – Liar
    JWU:
Chuck Berry - Johnny be goode
    Montage 5:
The Meters – I need more time
    Winston Wardwell:
    Babyshambles - Delivery
    Montage 6:
The Beatles – tomorrow never knows
    Closer:
    The Vowels – Pt 2
    Credits:
Matt and Kim – Yeah Yeah
    Quinn:
Black Ghosts – repetition kills you

ps. my parents have seen this and I haven't, i'm psyched to see my copy when I get back.

pps everyone should check out this video not just to support gabe, who has been doing as much for rollerblading in the northeast as anyone ever, but because everyone who has seen it thinks it rules and everyone likes stuff that rules
