Hahaha. I do read Chess books. I have been playing chess ever since I was little and we got a chessboard in my house that we play on all the time. I go through phases, though, sometimes I will play a lot and then I won't play for some months. I am not that good at it, however, my homie runs shit.

its interesting that they crafted a democratic system that still keeps the region in a state of anarchy, with government officials only serving two weeks terms the government can maybe address and solve one serious issue in the community tops
Ya, it would be interesting to go there for a while and see what it is actually like.
haha im gonna plow through one of their fences in a huge F-350 loaded to the brim with american-made agriculture
hop out of the truck wearing a "NAFTA? FUCK YAH!" t-shirt
and then in a horribly american accent i will go up to them and yell
"HOLA, QUIERES COMPRAR AGRICULTURA NORTEAMERICANA?"
Bahahahahahahaha, put it on Youtube.

I had never heard of them until you posted but I just showed my wife the article (she's Mexican) and she said her cousin is loosly affiliated with that group. To get to where the people are you literally have to pass through the jungle which those people know like the back of your hand.Originally Posted by Charlie Hustles

shit gets so intense after a couple of weeks.
Every once in a while, the Zapatistas hold an "open house" thing where they allow visitors to live with them for something like a week and learn about their way of life. A friend of mine from Mexico City went to the one they held in 2007 and said it was an enlightening experience. Subcomandante Marcos was there as well as Manu Chao. Right now, my goal is to hone my Spanish-speaking skills so I can join her next time she goes.
