I find the scooter kids somewhat annoying, but I try not to get too bothered by them because if I did I wouldn't be any better than those ignorant skateboarders who feel the same way about us.

2 nights ago at my local park the ratio was looking like
5 skateboarders, 30 rollerbladers (not an exaggeration), and 0 scooterzz.

Yeah up here its about 20 to 1.
I hate not being able to hate or laught at them for the way they dress, their simplstic tricks and how their always checking out each others custom scooters.

Them remind me of rollerbladers.

Though i did get a laugh at a scooter rider who had 5 mp3 players on him , two for rock, two for dance and one for when I want to listen to rap.
They were apparantly all drinking mountain Dew because of the support the company gives to ACTION SPORTS.
Just not any support to gay sports like rollerblading and scooter riding.

i dont care when its a guy that knows what hes doing... but little ass kids that just ride half way up ramps, or try to go down the ramps and fall really piss me off.... almost as much as the little kid skateboarders who ride around the flat ground in front of every obstacle and almost get killed by a biker or rollerblader on a daily bases, and without fail everytime the kids parents freak out on the guy for not being careful when they chose to take their dumbass kid to the skatepark instead of a real park... a skate park is not a fucking jungle gym..

i just tried to think back to before i started really rollerblading. just to see if I was once a stupid little bitch.

the first time i went to my local park. i was about 10 maybe 11, and i had rec skates... i tried going up a ramp and fell directly on my face. at that instant i decided... "I better learn how to skate before i get killed." no excuse for these kids....

yeah... there are hundreds of them in boston. i see at least 10 people riding them everyday while on my two block walk from the train station to my school... at least they do it in the street though. i never saw the point of a long board, especially in a place that doesn't have too many big hills to bomb.. yeah boston as a good amount of hills, but not downtown

and i never seen them anywhere else.
