Default I had to call a Skateboarder out yesterday.

Here's a little story that may amuse Be-Mag for a minute or two.

Now, most of you that have met me know that I am calm and don't really bother anybody. But, I was skating in Paramount, CA yesterday with about 5 other skaters in a park of about 80 skateboarders. We were skating this little drop ledge to warm up and some 18 year old skateboarder snakes in an attempts a pathetic Ollie onto the ledge. He was one of those that seems to try tricks to hard for his skill level but we let him go multiple times while watching him fail over and over. After a few more failed attempts he takes my boys sneakers which were on the side of the ledge and just tossed them to the side as if it were the reason that he didn't land his trick. So, the idiot makes a mistake and cuts in front of me in line for the ledge. So......

I tap my boy and say loud "Arent those your sneakers tossed around right there?" And he says "What the fuck? Who touched my sneakers?" Since the kid was next to me I said loudly "This punk right here". My boy is pretty pissed but rolls and puts his sneakers back near the ledge. So I shout to him. "Next time put a bomb in it so the next time a bitch ass touches them, he gets his hands blown off then his ass whipped". Needless to say that kid skated away and we had the ledges to ourselves for the rest of our time there. The look on his face was priceless. I guess he thought he had rule of the park since we were outnumbered.

Lesson learned.......Even LB gets mad at times

i went to panama city beach florida this past weekend and we had our skates and found a small local park which was possibly the WORST park i have EVER skated... angle iron coping 6 foot tall SUPER steep ramps that are only 5 feet away from a 2 foot tall kicker box that is only like 3 feet long that is impossible to even land on the ramp on the other side if you start at the top of that ramp just all around bad

and there were probably 15 kids there that all were horrible at skateboarding and me and my friend daniel go do some dumb tricks for about 5 minute get the usual omg are you guys pro bull shit that you get from sucky skateboarders

and then one kid comes up and tells me just out of the blue that rollerblading is easier than skateboarding and i took my skates off so fast that he was dumb found and i go put them on if you think it is so easy and of course he punked out and then i proceeded to show him i can skateboard better than everyone there to prove how easy it is to be better than they were!

Couple nights ago I was at the park downtown when this homeless ass looking guy with a British accent asks me why I rollerblade. I told him that when i was in 5th grade, i had ordered a skateboard which was put on back order and I didn't want to wait so I canceled the order and bought rollerblades. He asked me if I enjoyed doing it. I replied yeah. He then asked me if I would trade him my rollerblades for a new skateboard. I told him no. He then told me he wanted to piss on my skates in the bowl and then set them on fire. I suggested that he burn them first then piss on them since wet skates don't catch on fire very well. He got a little heated and asked if I felt like a man when skating. Wearing a purple franco shade shirt and looking down at my skates i said "no, I used to when I wasn't afraid to huck myself down stairs or try gap to rails n shit. Just too old for that anymore. Now do you feel like a man sitting on a ledge not skating, teeth almost falling out of your mouth, and earlier complaining to your friend that you hadn't eaten in a week? Sounds like your priorities are a little off." And that was the end of that. I couldn't believe some guy who wasn't even presentable to his own mirror (if he owned one) was trying to talk down to me. Apparently devoting your life to skateboarding to the point where you're a piece of garbage > rollerblading.

The bomb come back was kind of weak, but it set the kid straight, so kudos.

lol i love when someone little skateboarder talks shit because there are older skateboarders there. Not like I'm going to break some 8 year olds face in for calling me a fruit booter. I just laugh.

Should have told him that his birth would have never happened if it weren't for the state's laws at the time.

Its kind of funny when the skateboarder of the night (lets face it, there's normally one) gets this dawning look of comprehension on his face that he's insulting a group of 25-30 yr old rollerbladers fresh from the office/metalshop, none of whom would have a problem dropping him on his ass at a moment's notice. Rollerblading around here got a lot less oppressive since we grew up

i used to think that it wasnt worth it to talk back to skateboarders. that if we were nice to them, they would respect us. but, now i realize that mainstream skateboarding bully us because they think well take it like a bunch of pussies. good job lord brian, we need more action like this.
next time a skateboarder gives you shit, tell him to shut the fuck up. and if he doesnt stop. then do something about it, whether it be beat the shit out of him, or rip him apart mentally. dont hold back. im telling you it will work.

One of my non-rollerblading friends dropped me off at a skatepark crowded full of 6-8 little grom boarders, and 2 old school heads, and he watchedd my friend and me skate this park, then he left to go get some drinks. As he was pulling out, this little 10 year old started shouting "LATER FAGGOT FRUITBOOTERS!@!!!" He kept repeating himself while I snuck up behind him. I saw the look of all of his friends faces as I was slowly but surely creeping up closer. Fucking priceless.

I leaned into his ear and yelled "HEY!!! I'M STILL HERE" and he got super scared and fall on his ass. Then I gave him a evil stare just to make him feel awkward, then I couldn't hold it in any longer and burst with laughter. He probably shitted himself.

The old school heads didn't even care. We were skating the same stuff while the pack of grom kids were flipping their boards in the middle of the park treating the skatepark as a flatland park... even though there is a parking lot right next to the park.
