well since being jewish is a religion not a race then unless they are religiously jewish they are not jewish... the kid would have a jewish doner but it wouldnt make them jewish...

Wrong, one identification of being a jew is being born to a jewish mother, which I think was what he was getting at.

The egg would be from a jew, but actually be born to a non jew.
