So apparently we are going to be staying at the Helmsley on E. 42nd St. in Manhattan. Anyone from NYC have any info on this place? Seems legit, close to all of the places we are going to want to see, not shitty and sketch. Basically I am asking how is East 42nd St.? and the area surrounding it, looks like it is straight up in the heart of the city. I am obviously a total n00b so plz no n00b hate as I am already aware of this.

at E 42nd ST you're closer to Grand Central Terminal not Times Sq. though not far from TS either. Looks pretty expensive. One thing i can say is that you'll have fun just try not to stand out as an annoying tourist. People really hate that.
