  1. #1

Default I met Bauhaus at a party earlier.

Remembering Farmer's Meantime section I asked Daniel Ash what he thought about rollerblading. To which he resonded

"I have no idea. I love motorcycles."

They played in some backyard in Chicago a couple years ago.

I heard it was horrible from a semi-trusted source.

Probably one of the most important gothic/post punk band ever, wich means a lot seeing that all bands nowadays rip off joy division and all.

I expected more knowledge from someone with that amount of tattoos.

If you like old and soft punk , listen to stygmata martyr or dark entries , those are good ones.

Well, first wage of punk sounds like pop to most people because they think punk is just screamin, empty politics and hardcore drums. So I tried to explain how you could like those songs without using words or terms he doesnt know.

You're a fucking idiot to see anybody that was great 10+ years ago and expect the same attitude/presentation.

People get old and fat and delusional. It's natural.

And to Vickyvs- If you think most bands are ripping off Joy Division either

    A) You're listening to straight shit

    or

    B) You're listening to too much Joy Division

Stop going to live shows for bands/artists that influenced your parents. The dignified ones killed themselves.

I'm going to agree with Nick, for the most part.

Reunion shows are usually fucking pathetic.

Although, I saw Roger McGuinn a year or so ago and he put on a pretty fantastic one man show.

A lot of bands try to imitate JD's sound.

    But they all suck anyways.

1st that comes to mind is She Wants Revenge.

pay attention to everything is hype now: they all try to be like joydivision/old postpunk bands. Loud bass with treble EQ, uhn tish ihn tish drums, reverb on vocals, simple danceable (sometimes with octaves) bassliness, etc.
