if you think the soles are slow now give it like, a month of skating. i had xsjados with kizer suspensions, it was aight. i recommend selling them and buying something more... worth the money.

I like Kizer fluids with mine. Yeah the soles are pretty slow. I found sole grinds to be awkward as well. I felt like the sole plate was so big that I could never properly bone over right, and when i tried my skate would kind of begin to slide in different directions a-la grinds with snowboards.

xsjados definately take a while to get used to but I've been skating them the past few years and so far they are the best skate ever for me...my carbons come tomorrow though so we'll just have to wait on the final verdict.

I'll be honest, I had the same CF1s that you acquired and I absolutely hated them. They felt really floppy and unsupportive.

I love the DW1s however. They skate totally different for some reason. I think it's a combination of newer materials and thicker padding.

has anyone skated them without the shock pad in the heel???

I got mine from a friend and I don't think he gave them to me with a shock pad in the heel. They're pretty decent without them. Unless you plan on doing some huge gaps or big drops or something.

what is the best frames on them???

I skate mine with GC's...I don't know if this helps or not?

does anyone else find the souls slow???

Eh not really, but then again I came from Deshi's with USD 2-pieces on them which were slow as balls. I guess the souls could be faster.

does anyone else find that it feels mad wierd to do souls on them???

Yes, it took me a little time to get used to the souls and the dimensions of them and whatnot. But once you take the couple sessions to get used to it they're fine.

the bullet 8s are prefect on them but featherlights will do. i can't say anthing about the speed of the souls though, i've been using night souls on mine forever.

ok thank you all , the imput is helpful. like when i do souls it feels like my foot is slippin off , but not the soul. if you can understand that. i skated them with the mooks and it was fun . i never tried freestyle before. dunno if i can hang with it. im old school and always rocked flat but i went back to anti last year. so i dunno if ima keep the mooks. it was fun though

Don't take the shock pad out. Just skate them more than once and STOP WHINING

Haha for serious though, just give them a little time. It's going to take more than one session to get used to them. It's worth it though.

Oh and BP, your beard looks to be approaching the league of my friend Sean's:

    Good job.

you gotta shape up the beard though. clean it up some. i cant grow mine out like that. i start to pick at the hairs. like some people bite thier nails i pick at my facial hair when it gets long, so i just trim it when it starts to gets to long.... and Al ive gone through like 6 pairs of skates in like 8 months. i cant find a pair that fits me and i like the way they skate.

I can't let mine get more than an inch or so, the longest I've ever had was maybe 1.5 inches and I hated it. Ryan C aka xGREENxCLOVERx just shaved his beard off and it was pretty gnarly as well.

The reason you can't find anything you like might have something to do with not giving any of the skates time.

no i cant skate in pain anymore. like i was just skating the remz os2 and i loved the way they skate, but my fuckin god did they kill my feet, thrones i love them too , but the 9 is too small but the 10 is too big. same with razors cults but not as bad as thrones, but after skating more than an hour i have to take them off. then the razor gen i just didnt like skatin. they fit me well just dont like them. and then deshi ch1 , loved skatin them buy cause they got so flimsy my foot would cramp from all the pressure from moving around in the boot. its hard to explain but my feet would get like cramps and it would hurt the top of my foot for days

You could probably fit into the 9/9.5 footwrap then, and that would allow you to skate the small skeleton. No skate, no matter how awesome it is, is going to skate well if it's too big.

Formula one GCs are the best frames for them IMO, Being that they make the souls seem faster and that they make the soul space a little smaller so that soul tricks aren't as awkward. I rode xsjados for 3 years straight with everything from GC2's, kizer fluids, Featherlights, mooks and F1 F1's are by far the best.
