Detroit-Area Bladers! Huge session at Landslide Sat. 12/10!

It probably seems like i post this every saturday, but tomorrow is special.

Octona team rider, and a good friend of mine, Clay Bowers is moving to Guadalajara, Mexico on Tuesday, for six months or more. Clay has been one of Detroit's most talented and friendly bladers since moving down here from The Thumb about four years ago.

Clay's many Mexican friends, love of speaking Spanish, and general curiosity as to what the world outside of the US is like has inspired him to take this sabbatical/tour of sorts. We're going to miss him very much and we're having one last big session to send him off proper!

It's at Landslide Skate Park, a really fun, blader-oriented park in Clinton Township (basically right at M-59 and I-94), that i'm sure anyone from Metro Detroit who's reading this is familiar with.

Starts at 8pm, Saturday, Dec 10th. Landslide requires a helmet but no pads, and a waiver. By 7 or 8pm you can usually pay for an hour of skating ($7) and they'll let you sskate till closing time (10pm). Jake Roose, Landslide's resident Blader Supreme, has apparently also secured us an aftersession so the blade sesh will go as late as we want.
