Sony Vegas 9 question

I'm new to editing and was given a copy of Sony Vegas 9 from work. I spliced together a project for work, and feel good about the results. My question: how do I create a kick ass intro with animations and some nice effects? I watched the footage tape intro, and some of the newer trailers and want to add some simple clean fx. Can vegas do this? Do I need additional plugins? Any YouTube videos or websites that can help? K thx

get a copy of FLASH CS4 PROFESSIONAL its not that hard to learn but it does the job.
