but in all seriousness college in not necessary for success hell, highschool isn't necessary for success. All you need is love and dedication.

but for those people who do need college to be successfull.. Harvard is a better path than shit stain central community college.

My dad didn't go to college and he's a mid-level manager at a insurance company. He said he didn't need a degree to get to where he is now, it just would have taken him less time to work his way up if he had the degree.

most companies don't promote from the inside. At least meaning, you don't go from say a sales rep to a corporate position. You really have to know how to talk to work your way up in any company. People have a bad notion that if you show a good work ethic and put forth effort that it will go noticed and you will be promoted/receive raises. But, really its all about who you get to know and how well you get to know them. You could work a week as a Administrators assistant, and if you know how to talk to people and talk to the right people, you could have a manager position.

    :Edit:

yeah your post just reminded me of this. no other connection really.

in addition. My old boss at Papa Johns worked as a Driver for 3 months before he was made into General Manager of a Store. 8 months later he became a corporate Management Trainer. less than a year later he owned 4 franchises.

Now he owns Every Papa Johns Franchise in the Rochester Area and two other restaurant chains.

don't know what this has to do with anything, just thought it was interesting.

    Also, he is only 27
