i think photos that have a lot of light colors that are close to white or the background color, that are posted on this message board, need some sort of darker color border to keep the light colors from washing out into the background or something like that. i dont know it makes sense to me.

i'm more apt to a 1 or 2 pixel border to keep it contained. anything thicker than that looks gross. people frame art to contain it and to integrate it with their furniture and their room. the same strategy doesn't really hold true for a message board.

i did. you are an idiot. people frame art because it looks better than canvas on the wall. the frame is the finishing touch that makes the art look complete. makes it look nice.

even thought it doesnt matter what one person thinks, i posted the photo because i feel it is a nice photo. that is my art and how i want it to look.

I always put a border on my photos... I think it brings out the colour of the photo... But why I put one that's close to 10 foot on every photo, I don't know... I should stop with the borders!
