My first atempts at skate photografie, I'm still trying to figure out how to get more of the speed blur out of the picture.

Shots where taken with a Canon PowerShot S30 with a shuttertime of 1/125, f3.5 and ISO 50.

yurup, you're going to need a faster shutter speed 125 is way too slow for skating.

and ChrisW. your sksating shots are ALWAYS dope.

i would ebay the powershot and move up to a canon rebel or a nikon d50/d70. you will have much more control over the photo.

thats not a "hammer" its a royal on mellow rail...but this post is about photos so thats beside the point...the photo also sucks.
