I got my D70 today, here is my first ever sequence and real shots, and the squences was done quite quickly to try it all out,

your pictures still need some work but they are 500% better, much improved composition.
they would be much better though if they werent quite as busy. There are tons of heads in the background and other things going on. take the photo so the only focus to the entire picture is the skater and the obstacle. Of course there are situations where that isnt needed but in your case that is the largest issue. Check out chris Ws and bs's pictures and youll see the composition and lighting puts forces you to focus on the skater.

The pic with the guy hanging on the door handle on the big door is probably my favorite but the palm tree/horizon pic and the yellow pole blockade pics are good too..
