Yeah what a bunch of idiots. I mean how could they possibly have anything else of their minds at such an event when they have important instructions to carry out given to them by someone that they are paying to perform them a service. I mean fuck this is their WEDDING and you have a vision of it, how dare they ruin that for you.

    Fuck you, you crusty fuck.

You have no idea what you're talking about. We communicate with our customers for months leading up to their wedding date. We go over time lines and have a heavy hand in the shaping of their day. They ask us if something will work, time-wise, not the other way around.

Or, let me put it this way: we get paid for our vision.

Thanks for contributing to the conversation, though, asshole. Stew in them shitty juices.

I love kids. They're short, highly emotional people who don't know anything. They rely on their creativity and imagination to get by in the world. A world, I might add, filled with giants. Amazing feat.

Speaking of jokes, why don't you post some more of your photos?

And just how mad are you at something that didn't even affect you that happened 3 years ago? Keep carrying around that baggage, it must add character or something. Something you are sorely lacking.

jealousy is a stinky cologne, faggot.

never called myself a photographer, only ever dabbled and Hmmmm, you being a weird faggot on the internet as baggage that I'M carrying around. Interesting concept, will ponder further. Great attempt at a personal attack though. Sorry that you have idiotic expectations of your clients and that my opinion of that made you so mad. Good luck.

what a miserable prick you are you must have a wicked ulcer.

And yeah, "hold the kiss for 5 seconds" and "don't run down the aisle" are outrageously idiotic expectations, god forbid we give our customers a good product with a little cooperation from them.

You're speaking about things you don't fully comprehend, and making fun of me for it, and yet you call me childish.

haha. You have no idea what I comprehend or don't. But its's pretty common sense from a client service standpoint that when you are there to provide a service for someone at en event for them, their required contribution to making your service come out perfectly should be exactly nothing save a timely payment of the bill. Especially a wedding for fuck's sake, if you were good then what you would be saying to them is "Just enjoy yourself, this is your big day, I'll handle the pictures." If you don't feel like you can get great shots without choreographing the wedding then you should be trying harder. Why do they need to kiss for 5 seconds for you to get a good shot of it? Have you not figured out how to tell when that's coming? I feel like they usually announce it... And some people are just uncomfortable showing affection like that in public regardless of the situation, should they just buck up and feel super uncomfortable on that super memorable life moment hanging out in a kiss that feels and looks awkward so you can dick around with your focus and composition? No you fucking berk, they should express their affection for each other in whatever way is comfortable for them as this is THEIR event and you as a hired professional artist should be able to figure out how to capture that beautifully regardless. You can act like I don't comprehend what you do, but really what we have here is that my opinion is making it hard for you to keep being delusional about not being a hack.

and the emoticons were a nice touch in the who's childish debate, Bravo.

I make one small complaint about an annoyance that happens selmdomly to another photographer, and I'm a hack? Look, shooting a wedding is fucking easy if you have the personality for it. And I do tell the customers to just enjoy their day. What you do not understand, idiot, is that customers come to us because they like our photos and have high expectations for their own. And they should for the amount of money they pay.

To claim that a wedding photographer must only shoot in a photo journalistic style is horseshit. There is a time dor that, but not always. Everyone has their own style, opinions and expectations. When we meet with clients, all of this is discussed, everything laid out on the table. The client walks away knowing that we have a lot of experience with what goes on during a wedding, and that we can be trusted to make sure the day goes smoothly. All we ask for is some cooperation during a few key moments of the day.

And I was exaggerating about kissing for 5 seconds.

This got blown out of proportion because you went out of your way to be a dick. If you don't have any photos to submitt, then why don't you just stick to looking at the pretty pictures and keep your fucking mouth shut?

Oh shit, I hate it when they're not cooperating. But whatever, their loss.

Took this the other day with a Canon 350D.

I've taken up taking photos again after a few years hiatus where I sold all my gear. Slowly getting confidence back and experimenting with some stuff. Here's some more recent shots:

    The Wonder Years, Sheffield.

    Queen Justine.

    Joe Watson, asleep backstage.

    Gatta. Freelensed.

    Crazy Arm, Camden Barfly.

I hope you're writing a wall of text again, because I'm not going to read it and will be smiling at your wasted efforts. I don't care what you have to say, Captain Customer Service.

    Ben, Such Gold

    Iona, Great Cynics

    Sharks.

    Touche Amore.

I play in a band, so basically all of these shots were taken before or after we played with these bands. Touring with bands is a great way to get comfortable shooting shows - you see the same bands for days and days, so you can get friendly, which means you can get close.
