Did you remove the backslide plates and instep straps because you're not planning on doing any royales, farves, torques or backslides?

I love kids. They're short, highly emotional people who don't know anything. They rely on their creativity and imagination to get by in the world. A world, I might add, filled with giants. Amazing feat.

Never had trouble doing royales & backslides setup like this.

It seems like I prefer my skates tighter and stiffer than most anyone else, but I remember, even when I was quite a bit younger, that the Nemesis skates were super floppy, with too much flex in every direction.

And let me ask, did any of the models have the frame centered under the foot? I don't remember them being centered.

    Annnnndd....

They should make aggressive skates like these! They look awesome to me, and the description says good cuff support. I think a guy in another thread said they were going to... could I put some soles on em?

Killgore had a pair of those set up as aggressive skates a year or two ago. They're basically the UFS Fatty with a lower toecap, no BSP, velcro strap instead of buckle, and of course the softboot looks different. All you'd really have to do to aggressive-skate them would be to throw on some "normal" frames.

I don't remember if some of the older models were centered. But for the most part, yes.

Yeah, that picture illustrates why they should just mold the cuff tabs into the new sole and lose the old one.

Did you destroy your Varsity's to do that? Or just chop the frames off the 250ccs and Dremel the souls to fit into the Varsity plates?

I bought a used pair of varsity that some kid wrecked the boots trying to dye them son
I kept the soulplate and baseplate. The 250cc just unbolted so they are not wrecked

how hard was it to get the Varsity's out of the permanent souls? Did it fuck them up? Have you skated those 250ccs like that yet? Can we get a picture with the boot pulled up a little from the Varsity plate?

i am really curious about this. The way I have my 250ccs set up with the Carbon plates looks more like a Xsjado/K2 hybrid, because the heel of the 250ccs are attached to the Carbon soul plate with t-nuts, and the 250cc boots just slip right in.

I'm going to do this in Illustrator and see what it looks like, then I am going to vectorize the 250cc boots with new color schemes and put it all together.

**edit** I'm working on it now and these are looking fucking amazing! hahahahaha
