Turn that shit on. This is the only message board I go to that doesn't have some sort of user rating system. Its 2010 dammit.

Be-mag will be much more interesting with this new technology. Imagine Razors without purple. That is Be-mag right now.

I think a week long trial run is in order.

I wouldn't give you shit. I just see this as an evolution to message boards. If anyone remembers much much older boards there weren't even recorded post counts or anything like that. It would just be a fun metric to have(like post counts), and make the board more interactive/social.

Its not even like the board will have to be overhauled to implement it. You click a fucking button, and that shit is turned on. All the admins would have to do is configure values that judge the scores behind the scenes. All i'm saying is give it a trial run for a week. If everyone is butt sore about it, or it causes the board problems then get rid of it.

Doesn't seem like it would hurt to try something new. Upgrading the board didn't seem to add anything worthwhile besides video embedding, and I think everyone was pretty happy with that shit. This could be better.
