Default Just found the worst rollerblading game....

I was rummaging through my basement and found this gem.

It's by far the worst skating game ever made. Has anyone else played this game? WTF were those people thinking. It's pretty difficult to maneuver around properly, and the tricks aren't legitimate.

Yeah, I had that game. It was fun to just cruise around and stuff. If I recall correctly, doing tricks on purpose was one of the most difficult things. You basically just jumped toward an obstacle, hoping to God that you grind it. No real skill involved. Still better than nothing, though.

So it was exactly like skating?

Exactly. And just like rollerblading, you could try skateboarding, instead, if you got tired of it.

Wow, I haven't seen that in probably 10 years. This skateshop/park I spent many hours hanging at had that game available to play on their computer. I remember the the day the owner's grandson bought it. He, a couple friends and myself all huddled around the computer trying to figure out how to make the skater do tricks. We wanted so badly for that game to be good, but it just wasn't.

Anyone remember the PS1 game "Street Skater" and how you could unlock the rollerblader?

Seeing those screens really makes me feel bad for getting my parents to buy me that. It was an awful game.

I had it, and played that game for hours. The rollerblader was a dressed like a ninja, and did all sorts of spin/flips on the ramps and could only frontside or backslide rails. I hated how the flips/spinning were preset so you basically had no control over what trick they did.

Street Sk8er Unlock Shao the rollerblading ninja
At the main menu enter: L2, 0, R1, Square, Right, Square, R1, Square. If you entered th code correctly the announcer should say "Yeah!"
