Were you fired or laid-off?, ask for a definition of your termination of employment.. if you were laid-off you are entitled to unemployment benefits in your state, if fired... well, you're on your own.. don't flip out that'll make things worse.. just say you want to know why, you have that right. I was laid-off twice in the past two years by the airlines.. try to get unemployment, its the shiiit.

Yea but that really will not do any good. I mean I do not want to appear hostile, I just want a fucking reason. Personally I think they just do not want to say your "let go"(not fired) so that I will not file for unemployment, but they cannot lie to me and say I was fired when I was not.

why would they not want you to file for unemployment? its not like you filing for unemployment effects them or comes out of their wallet.
