....sorta. i popped my shred bluray into the new samsung 3D tv at bestbuy and tested out the 2D to 3D conversion feature. it works alright at some parts like at the beginning when you see the STYD logo it definitely pops out at you nicely. and when b-smith is carving some bowl it definitely seemed like he was "detached" from the background so lets say hes carving a bowl and hes on the "wall" of it, you could still gauge how tall he was (which is something you cant really determine if you were to watch it in 2D). also in jerf's part when he does a really close up negative allyoop mistrial on a quarter it defintely feels like youre sitting at the edge of the coping actually watching him skate. and there was a part when a fence pops into view during the victor arias part and it felt like i was right at the edge of the fence watching him skate from outside of the park. all in all i think its pretty rad, but for some reason it only showed in 720p at 120hz (i also tested my pinneapple express bluray and it showed in 1080p but when i turned on the 3D feature it just took me back to the bluray player's OS)the technology's really cool though, hopefully itll get to a point where the tv's depth processor can make 2D look almost as good as native 3D. cant wait till glasses-less 3D comes out (even though im not really bothered with the glasses) and someone starts filming blading in native 3D
