I can't stop playing this shit.
I can't stop playing this shit.
Pokemon games are the last form of magic.
How many skateboarders does it take to change a lightbulb? One, but it'll take him 100 tries.

The same reason most RPG's are addictive. Constant need to improve oneself.
that shit is for twelve year old japanese kids...
And forty year olds who never left mommie.
never ever understood the whole pokemon bs.. I tried to like it.
But the intense gayness of the cartoon only made me angry.
The end.

if i can find my gameboy that will be my plane today play what ever version i find get blazed and play
Which version are you playing Sharky? I'm thinking of diving back in and picking up Platinum finally. (I'll do the G/S remakes later.)
As for why they are addictive: A decent RPG with phenomenal replay value thanks to such a vast cast of characters and play styles, and an enjoyable online community. And there are no teenage angst'd main characters.
Play Crystal!
I used to play Crystal when I was 10, what I really liked about the game was it's athmosphere.
By the way, I was thinking about this the other day, should I play on emulator or on the original carts? The saves can fuck often on the original carts, so I think I should play on emulator, but I don't know if they support linking.
.
Gold and Silver is usually held up as the best generation. It had so much content (you fought 8 gym leaders on a new continent, then traveled back to the Red/Blue world and fought those 8 gym leaders.)
They were recently remade for the DS, so if you're just looking for single player fun, that's probably the best route.
If you're actually interested in taking part in battling other players, you're probably better off with Platinum.
