Just bought a HD LCD and a blue ray.
Why the fuck should I fork out for another 3D Lcd and a 3D blu ray player because some film company has run out of film ideas and wants to make more cash?
Who the fuck would want to wear those dumb glasses and buy enough of them if friends come by.
Only good thing 3Dtv is for pornz.

I really do not look forward to the day when you can walk into Jane and John Doe's house and see the whole family watching their 3D TV with their glasses on with no idea of what is going on around them, I picture it kinda like the brain drain thing in Batman Forever. I just don't like how wearing the glasses disconnects you so much from the outside world, I would feel like such a tool watching the game with a bunch of friends and we're all wearing our glasses completely vegged out. 3D TV's totally eliminate the social aspect of watching TV/sports/movies with other people, that is where this technology fails.
they're working on 3d technology that doesn't use glasses, apparently it's going to be like you see in the movies, giant flat screen displays with huge graphics popping out of them all over cities
3d hurts my brain. got a massive headache when i saw avatar 3d... it was neat... but not awesome or anything.
Ill wait until they have holographic projectors to buy a new tv... so that when im watching porn i can pretend to fuck the girl physically.

3d tv's are just normal HD tv's with 3d capability. also different companies tv's are all a little different, so if u have a sony 3d and i have a vizeo 3d the glasses may not work for both. so it would suck to bring ur glasses over to a friends house and not even be able to watch it haha. so lame. also when im just hanging out and turn the tv on id hate to wear the glasses
How? Last i checked 3D tvs work buy having shutters that darken each lense to make you see two different things in each eye (like looking through dual periscopes)
