This is an official test/advert type thing for it
Opteka X-grip
Its what im hoping to get for my camera. I think it looks okay
What you think?
You can make a handle for relatively cheap depending on if you care if it looks ghetto as fuck.
I made a handle for a super ghetto cam that I made. (Flip video with a wide angle lens super glued onto it) 70 dollar HD video camera cheuuuh. And the only problem I had was I didn't have a handle to keep it steady.
I went to lowes and bought an aluminum bar, a 1/4th inch bolt and a 1/4th hex nut and some electrical tape. The aluminum bar is pliable enough that you can bend it with just your knee, but I used a work bench. You measure out how much you need to fit the camera on, and drill a hole for the bolt and hex nut. the hex nut will make the bolt just long enough to screw into the camera comfortably. Then I bent it to make the handle part. Don't make it too tall or the metal will wobble, but that's easily fixed (I used a shoelace). I wrapped the bar in black electrical tape for aesthetic purposes and I took an old scooter and cut off the handle and taped that on for a grip. I just wrapped that up with tape and it actually looks pretty good, and works good as well.
