What's up with people who give good/bad rep but don't say who they are?

I usually give rep and say something mean like "I hope you fucking shin yourself on a rail" or "You failed to embed, i will haunt you".

then when I get negative rep I usually just say things like "fag" or something. But i don't give out rep that oftne.
