This seems very intriguing to me since this is probably the first consumer grade HD camcorder with interchangeable lens.

I was thinking about getting a either a 7d or the Panasonic GH1 to replace my EOS 450D since I want to shoot video as well.

7D will still be superior.

I don't see a point to that camera other than "unlimited" recording time as compared to DSLR's. Not impressed. Get a 7D.

I didn't look into this camera that much but isn't it limited to 60i only? If so.... no thanks.

Looks like I'll be getting a 7D real soon. Suck that it has a 4GB video limit since I was planning to shoot my cousin's wedding next year. The only DSLR in the market that I know that doesn't have a video size limit is the Panasonic GH1, but from what I heard the AVCHD format is a bitch to edit.
