Default attempting a roces 5th element UFS conversion. HELP!

trying to convert my mates beasty skates to UFS, wondering the best way to go about it, plan atm is jigsaw off the connectors, stick a USD 2 piece soul with the supports sanded down on the front plate to try to compensate for the shape of the sole of the boot without the non UFS soul/frame piece

find some ufs graal souls, not really sure how high the heel raise is on those, maybe valo or m12 souls would work too

You'll have to sand a lot off and drill holes but you could probably get some Nimh souls attached somehow.

yeh gunna have to measure and drill the T bolt holes, its just the heel raise im worried about!

the valo souls sound pretty decent, the heel raise still might be a problem? if i cut up a piece of plastic and sand it to fit the heel and make it flat, could work?

why dont you just saw off the frame of the soul system, then sand out a 1-2mm deep channel for the frame then drill UFS bolt holes? thats the easiest way and if you put on a random soul system it'll look like shit.

the souls are so worn they pretty much need to be replaced anyway, as long as the heel raise is sorted, new souls will look good, m12s with nimh souls look sick

You should have skated them stock with flat setup. This frame looks excellent for flat.

Put some UHMW soul wings over the stock souls.

ok... here is how it goes..

Step 1. Purchase a Metal Garbage Can

Step 2. Fill that can with newspapers and lighter fluid

    Step 3. Set Fire

Step 4. Throw skates in said fire.

    Step 5. Buy Valos

    DO NOT DO THIS!

Just buy some M12s or valos. Even if you get it to work, it will skate terribly. There is a reason they spend so much money to make modern skates you know.
